Cylons on film in the new series really don't seem to have a lot of specialized designs, so I took this one as a ship designed to go in and take a world. Ortillery, Drop Ships, Missile loadout on par or a little better than a base ship, defensive batts, and of course a resurrection system to make it a campaign target. Have fun, but I don't expect it to be that balanced... Well, the way we have played it, you need to designate one point of the ship (a dot on the mini perhaps) as "front" - but solely for the purpose of matching up with the SSD. Cylons use gravitic engines, so "front" doesn't mean squat when it comes to movement. We base out cylons with an arrow indicating direction of movement. The Cylons can use drive to either rotate the ship without changing direction of movement (noted as a +/-R on the plot) or can yaw the ship normally (+/-y) which changes the facing AND direction of movement. Note the collimater ring represented by the dotted lines. The Galaxy has quite a phaser broadside, but a good complement of Photon Torpedoes as well. Note that we did not go with the seperation system shown in a few episodes.
