 Black Tower Ruin

By CORNBREAD - Dec. 31, 1969

A ruin piece I started last year but never finished because something was missing. The missing element happened to be more ground clutter, after all, it was a tall tower, all of those pieces just didn't dissappear.

This tower also has one 'working' arrow slit.

All of the pieces come from the 4" Circular Tower Mold #52 and is contained on a cd.

In places where the broken blocks were too smooth, white glue and sand helped to add texture. The piece was based black with 2 shades of gray and a final highlight of white.

A very nice looking ruin. I really like the amount of rubble and paintjob.

I love this model - reminds me of a lot of ruined castles I have visited. The scenics look perfect and the dark paintwork gives it a slightly boding appearance.

A very nice tower ruin! This one is a great little ruin that could easily go onto any table and add so much character.

The rubble every where adds to the ruinious nature of the build. This is nicely painted and nicely rubbled!
