The vines were created with jute macrame cord glued to the wall before painting, and the foliage is Woodland Scenics coarse turf, in various colours, highlighted with light green acrylic paint Smaller pieces of rubble and soil were created by breaking up the coating of plaster left inside the plastic mixing cup. The tree was formed of 20 ga galvanized wire, and coated with Durhams water Putty Special techniques: to create the broken pieces for the rubble, contrete patch was added to the ortho plaster. This caused some bubbles, but accelerated hardening, so I could un-mold pieces in about ten minutes. While they were still damp, they were easy to break by pushing a hobby knife into the pieces. 8.5" wide x 6" deep x 8" high (Total 22.5")
