 The Tomb

By GEBOOM - Dec. 31, 1969

The Tomb is a dungeon room centre piece.
This is why I choose to display this as a project on a floor without walls.

The stones come from the following molds:

Large Flagstone Mold #265 (25 pieces)
4" Round Fieldstone Mold #72 (40 pieces total, 32 altered)
Fieldstone Wall Mold #70 (16 pieces)
Turret Mold #61 (41 pieces in total, 24 altered)

Total: 114 building blocks

Acrylic Paints color scheme

Base:
- Spray painted black
- Dark Red brush
- Medium Orange brush

Walls:
- Spray painted black
- Dark Khaki brush
- Medium Khaki brush
- Light Khaki brush

Skulls:

Finally I used an acrylic semi gloss varnish out of a spry can to seal the paint.

i want one. the composition of the tomb? folly? is great. i think you were right about the skulls, if you'd put them in the fs arches it would have overpowered the design, but imho i've saved the best to last, i'm a big fan of the torch sconce and these recessed alcoves are great, did you angle the alcoves to achieve a curve? i think it might have been a better idea to take the photos against a dark background to give a dungeon atmosphere, the sky makes it look to cheery.

kskyhappy - the impossible just takes a little longer
