The crypt measures 12 inches by 8 inches and the walls are about 3.5 inches high. I used basic blocks, the gothic dungeon, bell tower, field stone floor, and bridge, and tomb mold to make this model. The recessed alcoves are from the bell tower. The statue of the praying monk that fills these, as well as the main focal wall is an old small scale 25mm miniature I have that mysteriously seems to keep duplicating itself. The syophothicas is three basic blocks with an Armor Cast lid glued on top. The cross was painted on in keeping with the religious theme. The altar was made from basic blocks and a decorative trim piece from the tomb mold. Pillars flanking the altar sides, as well as the end of the bone alcoves are also from the tomb mold. The cross above the altar was made with a cheap piece of costume jewelry. Casting from the bridge mold made the large doorway between the crypts two sections. Thanks for looking!

The master of filthiness has made an astonishing realistic and somewhat horrifying place to dwell in. Go Scott Go

i'm a little non-plussed as to what this is doing in this category - as a restricted dungeon entry it's right up there.
i love the overall feel for this piece, there are lots of contributing details, where do the book piles come from? i particularly like the arched entrance mad the altar cloth.
kskyhappy - the impossible just takes a little longer
