 Trojan Rabbit

By MR.FIBBLE - Dec. 31, 1969

well its the plank mold and thats about it. I thought there was a one plank catagory so planned to make the trojan bun bun and enter it in that one.
Alas this year that catagory does not exist, so here in the small catagory is ...............TROJAN RABBIT

the design is from Monty Python and the Holy Grail film and based on a pattern that I found online, this pattern was enlarged so it would work with the plank mold.

Everyone with HA molds wants to build a castle at some point ............. the rabbit will help gain entry into such castles, think about it a way to break through theose delicatley cash walls, and all done with a wickle fwuffy bun bun ......... if the rabbit fails there is always the back up plan the TROJAN BADGER ..............

the rabbit was made with the following ........
the plank mold
two chop sticks ( snaffled from a meal I had so freeeeeeee )
one tooth pick
paint and glue
and paper

yes thats all now you all go make one :)

every panel was done seperate and then regular 1" HA gothic blocks used as a brace block in the back side of the two sides

the wheels were done with a cheap dremel knock off that cost $20 and used the cutting disc and a grinding bit for the axle hole

and thats about it

if nothing else up till this point its a tad unique

hope you like it :O)

David

Nice to have some humour thrown in. (Not fun though 'cause thats for girls!) Well constructed and great idea. Not any great technical innovations but a welcome entry nevertheless.

Someone posted a clip from the film on another forum, and yeah, this replica is very accurate.

It's been so long since I've seen the movie that I didn't realize this was from an exact design. I just don't remember it. Still, very humorous.

Well that's it; we do our best to make fierce, well defended castles and strongholds and then someone like you comes up with such an awesome vehicle filled to the brim with Knights who say Ni or even worse creatures so we don't stand a chance in battle ! Aaarrgh... we're doomed !

No serious; an innovative and fun way to make use of Hirst Art !
