Being a painter myself i really love this work. Overall it is nicely handled and does suggest a structure that has deep relief although the relief is only one block thick! Great job. I had taken some of my old master molds that came out clean and used them as art similar to this...just never thought about using it in the HADD!

A great idea - truly unique. You're quite an artist and this Trompe L'Oeil works very well. My only slight criticism/suggestion is that the staircase in the middle doesn't quite work for me. If you agree, then you could try shading each level from light at the top to darker at the bottom. (Or you could just curse my opinion and not bother.) Apart from that I loved looking at these images.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there ;-)

Very well done, Malarkey. And a very innovative idea, too! :-) I imagine it will be a nice addition to any wall in someones home. I was really amused to see that someone had about the same idea is I had myself about a year ago. I even built the piece but never posted it. Will follow soon.

The first time I looked at it I thought it was a whole building. Very pretty and very original. Nice work Mal!

I love it. Seriously, that's a great concept and you executed it well.
It's an 'artsy' piece, but, the technical quality and originality is very high. Haven't seen anything like it until now.
Great work.

Great job on this one! It took me a while to finally figure out that this was a painting and the surface was just flat and not 3D. A really great piece this one!
