Upon seeing the bridge in LotR I figured I could use a small bridge or 2 for small skirmish games. I used bricks from the Traveler's Bridge mold, the Fieldstone mold, and the Flagstone mold. I started with the arches from the bridge mold and cut the finished stone blocks off of the arches. I then mapped out the sides and chose flagstone blocks to fill in the spaces, I then cut and sanded them into shape to fit the arches. I used the flagstone pieces for the top of the bridge walls to give it a slightly more ordered look from the jumble below. I wanted this to be more rustic and narrow than the Traveler's Bridge, so I made it 2" wide rather than 3". The stairs use the Stair pieces from the bridge mold with flagstone pieces rather than the usual finished stone pieces. After assembly some gaps in the wall between the fieldstone bricks and the arches were filled with epoxy putty molded into stone shapes. It uses 113 bricks and left the entire basement coated in dental stone powder from making the mistake of cutting and sanding that much off of blocks inside.
