By TODD_GOSS - Dec. 31, 1969 Start outby building a basic square 4 blocks across and 3.5 blocks on each side. Now pick on of the 4 blocks section to be your front side and fill in a two more rows of three blocks (see pics) I lef the rest empty to save on blocks + weight, if you can not see it why build it! The side of your building should be 2.5 blocks across the back 4 but its reallt only three because you pick up a half block from each of your sides. The building should be 4 inches by 2.5 inches if that helps. Build up the walls 10 blocks high. Of corse the doorway from the dragons in goes front, center. One block above add two arrow slit type windows. I used the Wiz. Tower blocks but the Octagons would work. Two steps go in the center flanked by two triangle blocks on each end. Next glue 4.5 thin blocks going up the front wall on each side, these are the ones just as long as a reg block but hals as thick. Place long wise up. Overtop of these I glued the decorative block from the prison tower (same size) If you do not have that mold save yourself work and just use 4.5 reg blocks stack longwise (the way they usally do not go) I added the face from the wiz. Tower above the door, and two decos from the Gothic church mold at the bottom of each side but these are just window dressing. Next take 3 of the decorative blocks from the bell tower (the ones wth the legde and shapes)and glue across the top front of the tower. For the projects second half use the template from the Oct. mold I glued it to wood to save blocks and time. (can not see it why build it. Build 5 blocks up. Your first set should go like this 1 reg block, one arrow slit window one reg block. Build 4 of these. 5 octagon blocks stack build 8 of these. Wood planks small ones Trim/cut to 3 plnks wide Build 4 of these each will be 2.5 inches high and .75 inches wide. Using your templte as a guide your patter for glueing all the together should be like this one arrow slit with the basic blocks on top and bottom of course. One set of Octagon blocks one Wood block section. Continue the pattern all the way around to complete the octagon shape. I also added two triangle blocks to each of the sides and two on the back to help support the octagon top and blend it in. Add a roof and your done. I made mine out of card and added a decorative cap from the church mold. Leave the roof unglued and you can take it off to place troops inside.
