When I went about designing the temple, I wanted to build something that had different lines than most of my other projects. I think that what I came up with has a lot of character to it. I like the unusual curves, and multiple layers, packed into a compact space. This piece was quite fun to build. It didn’t require a huge amount of casting, and there wasn’t too much cutting and sanding to be done.

This model is 6"x4"x3" high. It uses mainly molds #210 cobblestone, #220 wooden planks, #240 wood roof, #250 small brick. I also used # 60 prison tower for the anvil.

Deep in the hidden vaults of an ancient and forgotten palace sits the throne of the necromancer. Hewn from obsidian and decorated in deaths heads the thrones dark stone reflects the lifeless and baleful stare of the lich seated upon it.

This simple fountain was inspired by Bruce's more elaborate fountain. I wanted something that would work well both as a stand-alone piece and as something that I could integrate into a dungeon setting. The end result is simple, but works very well.

This medieval Merchant House is very small - the base is a grand 8.75 x 5.75" and the house is 3.5x4", not including the lean-to. Although I realize that buildings like the Inn are great for actually gaming with, this building was built as a more accurate representation of the small living quarters in medieval times.

I put this piece together while in the midst of casting blocks for a much larger project. It actually represents my first attempt at building something from Bruce's Tomb mold #56. I'd only got the mold two nights earlier. I'm a bit impatient as a model-builder, so I put this together while waiting to have enough pieces for something bigger I was working on at the time. Hope you enjoy the fruits of my (impatient) labour.
Cheers

This monument marks the border of the elven lands and the grim statues of elven warriors remind all of the unseen but watchful eyes that lurk beneath the dark eaves of the nearby trees.
