By DEEMOCO - Dec. 31, 1969 Molds used were the ruined tower, small round tower, and bits that fitted from others temple etc (bear in mind that i just built it as i went and had no idea what the result would be until finished).I have and made no drawing plan but refered to pictures on GW forgeworld site of their 200 quid model. I just cast to death the two main molds for about 3 days and went from there making extra casts when needed. I built the base first and then worked an area at a time laying the blocks first and then glueing when i was happy with how they looked. Most of the decorative parts were added to cover any gaps that needed hiding. The rocks around the outside are polystyrene covered with a thin layer of the brick plaster (brushed on). between them is a mix of glue and sand and cat litter. i left the outer and some inner black so the model can be mountain top or sea based for gaming. i primed the whole lot black (two to three coats) and then started with the rocky outer highlighting up from a heavy drybrush of base grey to a gentle drybrush of white. same principle for the stonework but used browns as i wanted a contrast from the grey rock. I did want to put the remnants of a roof on but eas very happy with the look i had so i stopped, so although it is based on someone elses model it is primarily individual in its own right. Thats about it for the making other than to say i broke the blocks with small pliers and cut others with a knife to fit where needed. The model itself is basically oval measuring (including base) 14inches wide x 12 inches depth x 6 inches high. i have no idea how many blocks went into it but without casting it took me 3 days to complete about (24 hours work time).
