 I have wanted to build a Norman Keep for some time, and this spring I finally started. I built this "small" keep to try out some of the techniques for the larger one. My ideas worked out well and I ended up with a very nice looking experiment.

 i loved the design of helms deep from lord of the rings,and looking at it i thought of how cool a coastal fortress it would make! taking the core designs and keeping them the same,but also altering it to fit into what i was thinking.so here's my thieves fortress. An army of thieves created a base of operations.built inside a mountain with the entrance on the rough,rocky coast, it serves as the guardian of their plundered booty! With its lighthouse beakon, and it's drawbirdge defense it safe guards the goods, as well as allowing strong defense of invading forces or the arm of the law.
