How i came to the designs:
= The Corridor =
Well, after long thinking i came to the conclusion that a asymetrical sewer be the best to build.. main reason being to easy access to the clamps to make a watertight join between the modules.
In the test piece however, i didnt include the large arches from the dungeonbuilder.. and when it was assembled i thought it didnt look fantasy enough.. But cinna helped me on that and suggested making it look more ornamental, which basicly comes down to adding arches to the walls =)
and it worked! I think it looks awsome!

= Shrends Bedroom (aka: The Fog Room) =
When planning this room, i allready had set my eyes upon reapers model: Shrend, the alligator-man warrior
I wanted to give him a nice place to roam, in which you needed to get wet to get to the other side.
So i basicly took the room, made it as big as possible (10"x10" actual floor excl. the doorways)
Though i needed the fogger before i could start construction...
I needed to know how big it was and stuff...
Now the place where cinna got it (i painted some mini's for her) was quite a pain in the ###... But Rockee from Fountainsnslate.com was a huge help! She didnt mind at all helping me, was very friendly and actually... even better then bruce when it comes to support!
So then i know how high to put the pipe (its around 2.25" high from the floor)
The fact that the room can carry around 4L of water (a bit more then a gallon) is great for the fogger, if the waterflow somehow halts.. it can still work quite some time.
The pedestal.. well, it basicly comes down to that it needed to be a splashgaurd for the fogger.
It is put on a far wall to maximize the distance they need to swim to get to it.
Also, since the walls are as plain as i could get them.. i tried to make the pedestal feet look as ornamental as possible, so they got arches on top of the feet and pillar blocks from the dungeonbuilder as feet.
And yes, the fogger fits neatly under it =)

= Entry Corridor =
Well, i wanted it to be in the same style as the rest, but add a sloped waterflow for the water to enter the sewer (i got the idea from some cardstock sewer dungeon)
To maximize the width of the flow i added a small bassin before the slope in which water could collect, and then 'spill' over the edge into the sewer
I didnt add a arch to the side of the walkway because i didnt think it would look good in the overall piece.. and it didnt (i saw that in a dry-stack)
---
Extra word:
Sadly enough Henrie61 (he stopped by to check it out... and loved it!!) couldnt get a nice total shot of all 4 pieces (i dont got enough clamps yet to also put in the test piece, but it was part of the construction/design process so i included it for that reason) but it are 3 pieces, because it was a nice sunny (hot!) day.. it also is kind of dark
For the rest though, awsome pictures! thanks a lot Henrie!!
The arch picture of the corridor is a webcam picture, but it can take digital camera quality close ups imo
---
End:
I hope you like it as much as i liked to build it thus far.
Im sure ill make more pieces! (more more! queek, workshop me needs.. yes-yes.. workshop... skaven warlock engineers neeeds them workshops!!)
So be sure to watch voidgamers in the future =)
