 Double Circular Tower

By HYPERION - Dec. 31, 1969

Double Circular Tower

The tower is 5'' wide x 5'' deep x 17'' high (5'' diameter at the middle).

The tower is made up of about 275 bricks.

The tower uses the following molds:
52 - Basic building mold for the bottom tower, for both 4'' and 5'' diameter pieces.
61 - Basic building mold for the top tower for the 3'' diameter pieces.
42 - Larger statue platform.
41 - Smaller statue platform.

I got the idea because I just liked the though of the 3'' tower on top of the 4'' tower.

I started with the 4'' bottom tower. I wanted the tower to have statues in it so I left the bottom fairly open with 3 large windows in addition to the door so you could see the statue from the outside. The rest of the tower is fairly basic all the way up to the second floor.

The second floor is 5'' diameter pieces with the decorative braces and top caps so it has a walkway around the 3'' diameter tower.

The top tower is all 3'' diameter pieces. I used the archway to create the arched doorway on the bottom of the top tower so you can see the second statue well and it really opened it up. I added the dome on top.

The statues are reaper miniatures standing on top of the platforms from molds 42 and 41.

I painted the tower using the classic gray scheme. I used both dark and light gray on the platforms to give them a more detailed look. I painted the dome a blue-green color.
