 Brewery

By DUKEDREAL - Dec. 31, 1969

Brewery of Lathander

Fluff:
The Brewery of Lathander is set in the fictitious city of Helsport, a campaign that we ran in college. The Brewery was collaboration between the high priest of Lathander and a renegade follower of Gond. The city imported all of its beers from other places because there was no local brewery. Seeing an area for making a profit the high priest funded the creation of a brewery to spread the word of Lathander in a subtle manner.

The brewery itself has all the features seen in real breweries, with the still based on a French design. The brewery does have a few features not seen in others, such as the shrines to Lathander and Gond.

Molds used:

Mold #45 Gothic Dungeon Builder, for the decorative columns.
Mold # 50 Wizard's Tower Mold
Mold # 53 Bridge Mold, for the large arches for the windows.
Mold# 60 Prison Tower Mold for the staircases to the second floor.
Mold#235 Gothic Roof Mold for the roof.
Mold , Fieldstone floor tiles.

Size:
The base of the Brewery is 16 inches by 20 inches with a height of 7 inches.

Construction:
The brewery also uses wood for the floor and furniture. All of the furniture is made from balsa or basswoods. The furniture was stained with Jo Sonja’s Wood stain gels, Golden Oak, and Walnut. Clear plexi-glass was used for the windows with the use of styrene plastic for the windowsills.
