 Happy Birthday D&D

By BRIGUY385 - Dec. 31, 1969

Molds used:

Wizards tower
Gothic dungeons
Dragons Inn
Dragons teeth
Station Builder
Small Brick
Tomb Mold
Skematic Pyramid
Skematic floor

Other stuff:
Battery powered Light bulb
Skulls
Gem eyes
Part of happy meal toy (bulb cover)
Needlepoint canvas

D&D turns 30 years old this year, and what better way to celebrate, than to recreate a piece of history.

The idol itself was made with the Station builder for the most part, on the face, the small bricks were used for the nose and fit of the teeth, which are from the Dragon's teeth accessory mold. The horns are from the DT mold too.
The fingers and toes are made from the Skematic Pyramid mold. There are pieces of cardboard between them so as to seperate them.
The tray is made from the skematic floor pcs.
The upper pedestal is covered with small bricks. The main construction is built with basic blocks. The arches are from the tomb mold, at least I think so, as all my blocks are organized by type not mold. I spaced the arches apart, so that I could insert a piece of needlepoint canvas, to act as a gate that can be raised or lowered. The front arch had to be large so that it could be used for the recreation of the PHB's cover. The skulls on top are from a latex mold I made of a halloween toy.
It also lights up. The battery is stored in the base, and the cover and Idol are both removeable.

Thanks,
Brian
