By HAWKWIND - Dec. 31, 1969 I've run quite a few campaigns where the PC's ended up in the sewers. I've been using the dungeon sets, but nothing really looked like a sewer. After making a few projects using the acrylic water, I wonders what it would take to make a complete sewer dungeon. Before I made a full dungeon, I had to see if my ideas would work. This room is a culmination of that.I decided that the large two-part arch from the Dragon's Inn looked the part. 32 castings was going to take a bit. If I decide to do the full sewer dungeon, I'll make a mold of it to make the casting go quicker. On the whole is wasn't that difficult to construct. Once it was planned out, it came together pretty quickly. I'm rather pleased with the way it looked. After the grey paint job, I decided to do another wash of brown, just on the floor and the height of the first block, to look like the filth from overflow. Overall, I think the effect worked. I colored the water with a couple drops of bronze flesh wash ink. The green growth is just fine flock applied with watered glue.
