By MLINDERT - Dec. 31, 1969 Scottish KeepDescription After constructing my last years entry Castle of Despair I took a break from big projects, build some small standard projects (bell tower, ruined tower). At the time I was ready for another design of my own I came up with this keep. Although I don’t consider this small keep to be a great work of architectural art it comes out as a gem in my living room and I get many compliments for it from friends and family. I’ve build it almost a year ago but I haven’t presented it to the public yet so I thought the HADD would be a good moment. Construction I’ve used Dental Class IV plaster Total size of this construction is 12x12x12. Paints used: Keep: basecoated with Chocolate Brown, overall layer of drybrushing was done by a mix of Burnt Sienna with white, highlighting was done with Bleached Bone. After the paintjob my construction gave me more the idea of a terracotta flower pot than a keep so I’ve stained it heavily with dark ink. After that I was very pleased with the result. Cobblestone: black for base, drybush with Codex Grey Clay roof: mixes of red, white and brown housepaints Non Hirst Art materials used: Kabob skewer and toothpaste tube for the flag Bretonian Men-At-Arms Warhammer Miniature Polysterene for the base A printed out picture for the fresco painting Moulds used: Gothic Panel Accessories Mold #43 Gothic Additional Accessories Mold #44 Gothic Dungeon Builder #45 Wizard's Tower Mold #50 4" Circular Tower Mold #52 Bell Tower Mold #55 Tomb Mold #56 Prison Tower Mold #60 Octagon Tower Mold #63 Fieldstone Wall Mold #70 (for the flagpole-holder) Floor Tiles Various Sizes Mold #201 Gothic Floor Tiles Mold #205 Cobblestone Mold #210 Wooden Plank Mold #220 Clay Tile Roof Mold #230 Small Brick Mold #250
