 Tomb of Hur-Et-Thul

By IGUANIAN - Dec. 31, 1969

The ravaging sands of the desert have worn away many of the traces of the vile mage-king Hur-Et-Thul, but not all.

Sometimes a seeming oasis is in fact one of the tomb palaces of the long dead sorcerer, hidden by illusion to draw the unwary to an eternal doom.

Known for cruelty and waging wars on all lands near, the evil king was finally driven off, though not killed. Burning with hatred, and unable to wage war any longer, he turned to necromancy and tried to turn the dead to his whims.

Sadly for him, though the rest of the world breathes easier, he discovered that while he was able to preserve and animate his own body after death, he was unable to raise any older bodies.
And so he searches the desert wastes, using his powers of illusion to try and trap travelers so that he can try and animate fresher bodies and build his army anew.
