 DiceRoller

By CJLINHART3 - Dec. 31, 1969

DICEROLLER

7” x 4” x 9”

Molds that I used.
- Wizard Tower
- Tomb
- Bell Tower
- Gothic Dungeon Builder

A few of my friends do some Hirst Art casting and I built this a while back. You can probably tell from the photos that it gets a ton of use. Its cast in Excalibur, so, it stands up pretty well to our abuse.

I decided to enter it in a contest after a guy offered to trade a suit of chainmail for it at a local convention. I realized I couldn’t sell this model because I’ve used it for gaming so much that it’s like a portable good memory… although there are nights when it jinxes my dice.

Dice never get stuck in the roller because of little angled pieces on the inside lower walls of the stairs. The base holds enough dice for me to drop the bomb with a big flame strike. I have small D6s if I need to drop more than 10.

I spent a lot of time considering the best ways to make sure the dice don’t get stuck and how to work some good detail into the roller but still keep it very sturdy. Enjoy, and thanks for looking.
