By WIZ - Dec. 31, 1969 For the construction of this house I used following molds: the Fieldstone Wall Mold (#70) and the Wood Shingle Roof Mold (#240).
It is one of the first buildings I created with Hirst Arts molds and I am very pleased with the result. The house was built using standard techniques and I only had to sand a few blocks of the shingle roof near the chimney. The building is 6" x 8" x 5". I know the model is really simple in it's design, but this is the result I wanted to achieve: a plain and simple dwelling of a peasant or woodcutter (they aren't very rich after all). I finished the base with some flock, firewood and a vine on the side of the house (near the fireplace) to give the model some more detail. We use the house as scenery for our games of Warhammer in the gaming group where I play (Xhammer). I did not enter this competition to win a prize (altough it would be nice), I just want to share my first project with you guys. I hope you enjoy it :) Thanks for looking at my entry, Michel
