Building:
The idea behind this was to counter a rather rude comment said about one of last year’s entries. A sense of humor is appreciated and then promptly punished.

Fluff:
Before Odysseus came up with the Trojan Horse others in the Greek camp knew that he was thinking of creating some type of animal sculpture. Joeicus, the shortsighted of the Greeks, proclaimed that the Flamingo would be seen as a tribute by the Trojans and would be taken into their city. Everyone, but a few of the other shortsighted Greeks, such as Bubbicus and Earlicitius, thought the idea was ridiculous. Odysseus created his Trojan Horse while further down the beach Joeicus created his Flamingo. Needless to say the Trojans took one look at the Flamingo and burned it down to the ground! Only the briefest mention of the Trojan Flamingo survived, found on a vase in a tomb still reeking of beer after so many centuries.
