 Lukes Landspeeder

By DUKEDREAL - Dec. 31, 1969

Lukes Landspeeder

Height 2 inches
Length 6.5 inches
Width 6 inches

Molds used:
Station Builder Mold #300, Egyptian Temple Mold # 98 for engines with sections cut off

Other Materials:
Evergreen styrene of various sizes
Plastic ball for roof cut at a set height
Foam-board
Various parts from computer stations bought from an online store

Paints used on the building were Red Oxide with a red oxide and white dry-brushing. The seats were painted with black paint.

Building:
Looking at the columns for the Egyptian Temple mold I thought that they looked very much like the engines seen in the movies. I took one and tinkered around with it and built the landspeeder. The landspeeder uses primarily the station builder mold but just had to be put together. The dome windshield really adds to the flavor of the landspeeder.

Fluff:
I can take you as far as Anchorhead. You can get a transport from there to Mos Eisley or where ever you need to go….
