 Necron Fort

By STEPHAN - Dec. 31, 1969

The Necron fort is a gothic egyptian hybrid structure that was designed to be as modular as possible. I played around with combining these two lines for a while and then came up with this.

The base structure is an almost purely egyptian fort, painted differently it could easily go with my egyptian line of models. Maybe the gothic adornments would look strange but... :-)

There are several parts that can be placed at different places of the base structure, some small obelisks (not entirely HA I confess), gothic spires and a large obelisk. Originally I planned to make some Necron gun pieces, but time was short, as usual. To be honest, I am happy that I finished the structure and managed to at least apply the most basic paint job. I wish I had more time to apply more details, but this has be do for now. (Then there is the story of me getting my digital camera from the friend I gave it to at the last minutes of daylight... why does it always have to be that close :-)

The piece is placed on my new lava terrain, I guess its something like the premiere for the terrain, too... :-) The structure is not exclusively meant to be Necron, originally it was meant to resemble the keep of some demon lord native to this hellish place.
