 Transport Ship

By DUKEDREAL - Dec. 31, 1969

Transport Ship
Dimensions:
4 ½ inches tall by 14 inches long by 11 ½ inches wide

Molds Used:
Station Builder Mold #300, Starship Wall Mold #301, Cargo Bay Accessory Mold #302

Construction:
The ship is built entirely out of the station builder mold without the use of other supporting materials. You might notice that there are some storage lockers that look different from those of the Hirst Arts mold line. These were scratch built before Hirst introduced his lockers on his new Starship molds. Using the station builder mold and then adding details using plasticard made the originals. I then made a mold and cast them for this ship. The ship was then spray painted white. Some details were picked out to break up the white a little more. Someone online had their schematics for a ship, the Nimrod, which I found interesting, but I had already started building this before the current line of Starship molds had come out.

The ship itself is to scale with most 28mm minis and can easily hold a squad of 20 marines! However the white nature of the ship means it is a ambassadors ship and is not suppose to hold any marines.

Fluff:
The Ambassador left the transport ship and felt suddenly alone at this peace conference. However, the crack assault team on board assured him that one way or another things would go his way.
