 The House at Arles

By DUKEDREAL - Dec. 31, 1969

The House at Arles
Dimensions:
7 inches tall by 12 inches long by 10 inches wide

Molds Used:
Gothic Panel Accessories Mold #43, Gothic Additional Accessories Mold #44 (door), Fieldstone Wall Mold #70, Fieldstone Accessories Mold #71, Clay Tile Roof Mold #230, Station Builder Mold #300

Construction:
The building is based on ½ inch thick foam board. The structure is based on the painting by Vincent Van Gogh of the Yellow House at Arles that once stood on the corner of a street. The building was intended to follow those same ideals that it would be at the juncture of several streets with a small frontage that gets larger further back. However, I also wanted the structure to look like an Italian Sculpture yard. The furniture is made of balsa wood stained with Walnut stain.

Fluff:
Just acquired by the unkown artist Terry Jatko de Saltmarsh, the building is being transformed into a sculptors work studio. The main floor on the first level will be the gallery and the second level is the artist residency.
