 As the party enters the final room they are startled that it is empty. A fanged skull leers at them from the stonework in the floor beneath their feet. Slowly the floor rises from beneath them revealing the darkened crypt. A lone skull sits amid a pile of dusty bones. A flash of light and one member of the party crumples to the floor...

 This was a small tower in some land. After the climate change the tower was abandoned . Over the next century the dessert climate destroyed the top of the tower.
