By CLIFF - Dec. 31, 1969 This was a Grad school project. This assignment was really just a concept map where we were supposed to show the overlap of the branches of sciences and thus demonstrate how the distinction is really just a manmade construct. For example: the mathematics of the physics used in astronomy.Anyhow, I decided to apply my hobby to the task and the result is this futuristic museum. It’s probably the greatest number of hours devoted to the smallest assignment I’ve done in my academic career. This makes for a great HADD entry because it uses the four main mold genres in a single coherent diorama. The science fiction molds were the main framework of the museum, thus this depicts a possible future and inside we see three exhibit rooms constructed around different themes: caves, Egyptian and medieval. Some possible gaming scenarios were this museum could be used would be a high stakes heist where something has to be stolen from one of the displays. Perhaps delving into an occult theme where the curators at the museum have something on display that should have stayed hidden. My personal favorite (that I need to write up into a module) would be that this museum’s Egyptian room is the starting point for a pulp-fiction adventure where an “Indiana Jones” is contracted to find the rest of a hieroglyphic tablet because what the museum has ends halfway through a sentence.
