Paint the ground

Abstract : |
I painted the unspackled areas a couple of shades of brown to show the dirty areas where the snow isn't thick enough to blanket the ground. Looks pretty bad at this point.

Laydown some snow

Abstract : |
After everything else is glued down, I used some wall joint compound to build small hills. I built the hills in layers and made sure to let the layers dry before laying down more. In retrospect, I should have drawn the outline of the buildings on the board and built up as much of the board as possible and then glued down the walls.

I built my keep and glued it down to the board. I used a more expensive hot-glue stick which worked out much better than expected. This glue was specifically made for woodworking and takes a while to set. I was able to pick up the entire board by just a single wall. Good stuff!
