Moonglum Companion to Champions

Here is Moonglum, Elric's companion. I had to redo the sword blades once but at least they look better now. This is my 2nd NMM figure and I even experimented with some sky-earth on the green things for doing colored metal... I also wanted to try some patterns and my hand at freehand paintig thus the checker patterns. I see Moonglum as an outlandish fellow so I tried to paint him like that.

This has been one of my favorite minis for many years. I was never able to find it and after meeting Jim Jackson, he traded him to me for my spare Visions in Color #7 Vicky figure.
Now I had a heck of a time with all of the detail and littl efiddly bits but boy was he fun to paint! I have also never gone to quite the extents I did with the base and I am quite surprised at how good the scan turned out!

My rendition of Hawkmoon weilding the legendary Sword of the Dawn. Based upon a GW High Elf Leader type. He was an older figure that I repainted with some of my newly aquired techniques. Layering and blending abound but I like the little fiddly bits the best; a gem here, the SWORD there... The smashed skeleton's origins are at this time, unknown. It was fun chopping the little fellow into pieces though :)
