Abstract : |
This is a Reaper Grail Knight painted as Elric of Melnibone, the Albino Sorcerer King Of the Dragon Isle. He wields Aubec's ancient sword and has the great dragon helm worn by all Emperor's of Melnibone. The chance to try and paint albino's skin posed a problem as at first he appeared very grey. After mixing a hint of red in, I got a pretty nice color to work with. Also, the armor came out very nice (IMHO) but the moulding of the helm leads me to think that a simpler paintjob in that area would have been more effective.

Flesh Tearer Marine

Abstract : |
This is one of my new Flesh Tearers.
I'm putting together a squad for this years Golden Demon. I've used parts from a Tactical Space marine, the Khorne Bezerkers sprue and the Zombie sprue. This is the first one I've done - I'm working on a character for the squad at the moment..a sort of Chaplain.
Got a bit of a problem with the picture - a bit of reflection from the lights. I need to get a better pic I think. Comments are welcome as I'm always looking at how to improve.
