I have actually emailed Urban Mammoth and gotten replies. We've been back and forth a couple of times now. They are taking care of all the little things they need to do in the background to get day to day efficiency.

Seems they view their future is in the URBAN WAR option and they are making developing that their "big fish." I could not agree more - NOBODY is offering modular, flexible-layout interior or urban terrain - this could get them great market share, and solidify their income to the point where they would be willing to take chances for the benefit of the game again.

The good thing is, despite the big fish, they have hinted at some new rules options and possibly getting new characters/casts out shortly as well - so in that respect, for comon players, they have not forgotten us while seeking Moby Dick...

If they are open to advise - Mine would be to drop the plastics. Design problems with going that route contributed HEAVILY to their financial woes, and while the cost-to-profit ratio may be compelling, I have bought the plastic boxed set, and I am not impressed. Good conversion fodder, but that's about it. I definately prefer the metals. It would not break my heart to never see plastric Syntha or Koralons...

As more develops, I'll post...
