"I don't have enough money to buy that game\" Well when it comes to I-kore\'s Void 1.1 you do. I've compiled a couple of 500 point armies for around 50 bucks. Forget those extra large sodas, forget that box of magic cards, and most of all forget that new line of star wars toys. This game is better than those things. I started off thinking one and only one thing. I want to play a tabletop game but I don't want to get hammered by Games Workshop. Enter Void. A fast paced shoot to kill game. Best of all the Models are all metal and cheap as hell. Before I got smart about buying the game I spent around 80 bucks on figures and I came out just under 700 points. I figured this was getting a little too steep for my taste so I backtracked and reevaluated my tactics. First I started looking for a good dealer of void. I came across Necropolis Terrain. http://www.homestead.com/NecropolisTerrain/home.html With 20% off all I-kore products and 5 bucks shipping I figured I was in heaven. Placed my order via e-mail then called them up with a credit card number. My order was on its way. Now down to the really good stuff. How to order a 500 point army for around 50 bucks. (All prices were current at time of article prices may have changed sense this was written) V.a.s.a IK31406 Vasa Starter Army $31.96 5 marines Chain gunner, 108pts 5 Black Legionaries, 228pts 1 Bike, 37pts Commander X, 74pts Box Set Total points = 447pts. All you need now is another marine squad to support those Black Legions IK31401 Vasa Marines $9.56 K11409 Vasa Marine chain gunner $3.16 Total points 108. Walla 550 points with 45 bucks Add 5 for shipping and you have $49.68. You have a good 500-point army to play with.... Next army is Syntha this one took a little more tinkering, as I really wanted to pick up the new Grav Bikes but I choose to just add one item. IK31505 Syntha Starter Army $31.76 6 Assault Synths, 116pts 6 Tactical Synths, 133pts 1 Doctor Omega, 50 points 1 H/K Bike) 81 points Box set Total points 380pts IK31303 Hunter Killer Bikes (2) 162pts $11.96 Total points 542 for $43.72 add 5 bucks shipping and you have $48.72 So there you have it two really cool 500-point armies for fewer than 50 bucks each! So quit your gripping and go buy this game.
